Mountain Road RV Park

 
This park is off the I40, exit 333 on BHP 54 and situated between the interstate and Route 66 and the town. It's just a short drive into Tucumcari. It is basically an overnight stop or short stay campground.

An all gravel campground with a few trees, amenities clean and controlled by key entry. Small playground is situated at the end of the park.

The most sites had a slight fall which required disconnection of van to level. One problem I had on arrival to the site was there was a server odor coming from a sewer vent pipe that would have been located right next to my bedroom window. I did ask to move and was told I could have any site I chose. I did move and had no further problem. I used their laundry facilities which were excellent and very reasonably priced $2 total for washing and drying.
