Missed the resort on the first approach as I had a bunch of traffic behind me and as your come around a corner
there is a large sign on a narrow street where you have to make a fairly tight turn. I was doing about 35 mph in
the 40 zone and with such short notice I could not slow down to turn into the street safely, particularly with the
traffic right up my tail. Went about another mile down the road before I could find a spot to pull off and turn
around. They really need a sign before the bend to warn you on approach to the bend.
Went up a hill and the entrance to the resort was at the top of a crest and it was quite a drop over the rise
into the resort. Gate was right on the top of the rise and it made it a little confusing where to pull over and
register. Down the long steep sealed drive and turning onto a gravel road to my site. My neighbour told me we
were in the parking sites as the better sites were on the edge of the river well below us. They were fairly well
occupied with I guess annuals although there were some sites with people occupying them. I am getting the feeling
that there is a bit of group distinction between the types of organisations you belong to. This resort
advertised Great RV Escapes, Coast to Coast, AAA, and Passport America. I got this at the previous resort as
well.
