I used this company to convert and import my 5th Wheeler to Australia. Whilst their
price quoted to me was well below the price quoted in Australia, their workmanship is questionable and
it took 8 months to get the van to me after I dropped it off in LA. I believe their workers stole over $1500
of goods, lighting, clothes, camera equipment and a number of other items both fixed and removable from
my 5th Wheeler. Mike Morris the owner of this business warned me when I left the van with him of the theft
probabilities by Australian customs but I believe these thefts took place in his factory as it would have
required many hours to find, dismantle and remove many of these items. His reply to my emails were very
spasmodic over the 8 months and have not received any replies to emails sent since I received the unit.
Berry Family Law, 162 Ferguson St Williamstown. 3016.
They handled my last settlement on the divorce case on my defcto relationship in 2015. They
quoted me a price at the start of the case and tried to increase the hourly rate halfway through negotiations.
After some negotiation they agreed to keeping the initial quoted rate. The solicitor I used (Ben Smith) did not
give me much advise and any indication on how I would fare. I had to use a barrister when I got to court twice
which cost me a fixed rate per day whether it be 15 minutes or all day, both times and apparently
he was briefed by the solicitor. The first appearance should have been handled out of court as I believe
it was just a formal decision to go to mediation. I had to come back from America just for this 15
minute appearance. The second appearance was for mediation which I never got into the mediation room
but stayed in a small office off to one side. I never got any indication on how things were proceeding with
mediation or my chances of winning. Although I did partially win in some sense, I believe had I known my full
rights and how the case was proceeding I could have recovered more.
