Missouri. Click on thumbnail's to view photos, large format. Most of Route 66 in Missouri was running right next to the freeway or had been replaced by the freeway. I got off the freeway a couple of times to get a few photos. Following the freeway there were many billboards highlighting the Meramec Caves. There was a KOA campground just prior to the entrance so decided to stay there and go to the caves late that afternoon.
