South Carolina Trip October - November 2015.

On returning to America in September I decided to go east to try to fit in a trip to New England however I lost over a week waiting for Lazydays Tuscan to finish warranty work on my 5th wheeler. After leaving the 5th wheeler with them for over 6 weeks to do the work they came up with a number of excuses for not having the work completed on the specified pick up date. With this delay and time running out when I got to Indiana and I decided to head south to South Carolina and spend some time with Kitty, Roger, and Tilly.

In Indiana I went to the Grand Design factory to view how they made my Reflection 5th Wheeler. The first inspection was with a group tour at 2 pm when the factory workers had finished for the day. After this tour I contacted Paul the tour guide and he organised a private tour the next day in the morning while the factory was working. I have never seen workers so dedicated and working so hard to produce 20 to 21 units a day. I was most impressed. After the tour I went to JD the Service Manager who handles the warranty work and told him of the items still not fixed by Lazydays. He arranged for the faulty parts for me to pick up the following day and I said I would fit them to the 5th wheeler. Their service was great.
