Roaring Run Resort.

Campground is well off the highway in a wooded area on the side of Roaring Run Mountain. Well spread out campground but all sites are all back in and they seem to have a fall on them one way or the other. The one I was given had a fair amount of fall on it and would have meant I would have to disconnect and really let the front of the van down to level it. The guard at the gate who did not have my booking said I could pick any site if I could not fit on site 9. I did go to another site that let me stay hitched.

Campground had beautiful tall trees between all the sites which would have give plenty of shade during the summer months to all the sites. The resort had many sporting facilaties in reasonable condition, same with th abolution block that was small. The guard at the gatehouse told me about the Cable TV that was not in the book and also the Wi-Fi which you had to pay for and the shop was closed to pay for that. He could not do it. Signal throughout the campground was excellent from many sources. It was a pitty I could not use it.
